E. Frank Hopkins Co., Inc. is a full service seafood distributor operating in Philadelphia since 1890. Our roots were formed in the stalls of the Dock Street Fish Market that thrived in Philadelphia in the early 1900's.
In September of 1995, E. Frank Hopkins Co., Inc. was granted HACCP certification under the United States Department of Commerce. We were one of the first companies in this country to operate under HACCP guidelines. Since certification we continue to work closely with the United States FDA to continually improve both the quality and wholesomeness of all seafood products sold to consumers.
Today, we source commercially imported seafood species from all major domestic and international ports. Employing over 50 seafood specialists and support personnel, we handle all forms of seafood at our Philadelphia location, including fresh, frozen, smoked and pasteurized products.
We take food safety seriously, and we are HACCP Certified (#14806149402). This certification ensures that we are compliant in seafood and general food safety management and product quality, and demonstrates our commitment to safety and hygiene.
