  • – 4 haddock fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • – 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • – 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • – 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • – 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • – 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • – 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • – Salt and pepper to taste
  • – 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • – Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. **Preheat the Oven**:

   – Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  1. **Prepare the Haddock**:

   – Pat the haddock fillets dry with paper towels. Place them in the prepared baking dish.

  1. **Season the Fish**:

– In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

– Brush or drizzle the olive oil mixture evenly over the haddock fillets.

  1. **Add Lemon and Dill**:

– Arrange the lemon slices over the top of the fillets.

– Sprinkle the chopped dill over the fish.

  1. **Bake**:

   – Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the haddock is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the fish during the last 5 minutes of baking.

   – Garnish with additional lemon wedges if desired.
